Crutches for Haiti

While you are cleaning up this week please take the time to look for any spare sets of crutches you might have!
President Fuhriman's son and daughter-in-law are working with
"Healing Hands for Haiti"
to ship the collected crutches to Haiti to help those who have been injured in the recent earth quakes. They need the crutches by this
Friday, January 29th.
(They will also accept wheelchairs and pediatric walkers.)

"Dr. Daniel Egan, is currently in Haiti as part of a medical team from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the limited communication we have had with him, we realized the great number of Haitians that will need assistive devices to rebuild their lives. Amputations are the norm; many have infection and injuries that doctors are unable to repair due to limited supplies and lack of timely medical treatment. Dr. Dan also adopted twin boys from Haiti five years ago--he's giving back to a country that has given him so much. We want to give too! (Dr. Dan is pictured above.)"
