Did you attend/watch/listen to the General Relief Society meeting this past Saturday?
If you missed it or would just like to watch it again, here it is:
Or click here to be taken to the Church's web page to watch it again.
The Wilford Stake Relief Society has asked that we listen to the messages with a purpose. There are almost 100 days left in the year, and the Stake has challenged each of us to work on the "essential thing" that will help us become a woman that is "Strong and Immovable."
"Our personal conversion comes as we begin to live the way the Lord wants us to live - steadfast and immovable in keeping all of the commandments, not just those that are convenient. This then becomes a process of refinement as we strive to make each day a little better than the last." (Cheryl C. Lant, Primary General President, Righteous Traditions, Ensign, May 2008, 14)
The Stake Relief Society had "100-day Strong and Immovable" challenge cards available for each of the sisters. They ask that we each fill out two cards - one to leave with the ward presidency as a symbol of our commitment to the challenge, and the other to take home as a reminder of our commitment. Please contact a member of our ward's Relief Society presidency if you have not received a set of these challenge cards yet.
