A Christmas in Nauvoo

After a lovely 1840's Christmas dinner of Ham, carrots, beans, rolls and pie, members were taught some of the social dances of the Nauvoo era.

Many gave the dances a try, while others. . .

. . . learned by watching.

  1. We had a great time and so did our neighbors. I love the couple photos. They are all so relaxed and happy.

  2. The photos turned out great. So glad Gus went and got your camera. It was a very nice evening although I probably shouldn't have gone out in the cold or talked so much. Coughed all night and not feeling well today. But it was fun anyway.
