Welfare assignments are just plain fun! You get to dress in good looking head gear, aprons, and delicate gloves. You indulge in plenty of chit chat with friends and neighbors. You learn how skilled (or unskilled) you are. You nibble on bread here and there. And at the end of the day you stand back and say "Wow! Today I have helped put food on the tables of the hungry!" This is an amazing church that does amazing things, and we are a part of it!
