This weekend we had the chance to finally get outside and get our hands dirty. As we worked in our yard as a family I was surrounded by the wonders of springtime.I think of tulip bulbs - little sleeping balls waiting to explode into stalks of red, purple, peach and white. Daffodils - creamy shades of whites and yellows greeting each spring morning. How wondrous that these markers of spring can brave the last snowfalls to greet us and remind us that the delights of warmer weather are fast approaching.
Every time I see a tulip or a daffodil I am thankful for this reminder. I love tulips and daffodils all the more because their season is fleeting and must be savored for only a few weeks. I thank our Heavenly Father for creating such glorious reminders of his love for us.
What are you thankful for this month?
