APPLICATION: SING
It has been great to have music in our Relief Society each month. We have heard from the Priesthood with the Y.M. and the Primary children. More recently the Young Women sang about the HOLY TEMPLE .
I love the music the Primary teaches. The songs have a lot of meaning that will help build their budding testimonies.
I remember the first time I heard the song "A Child's Prayer". It touched me so much. It was sung by a young mother and her daughter. At first the child sang and said, "Heavenly Father, are you really there? and do you hear and answer every child's prayer?
The mother then sang, "Pray, He is there, Speak, he is listening, you are his child."
December was a great month to be aware of music and wanting to sing. So we will sing where ever we are, in the shower, kitchen or with our family in the car.
President Packer says, Thru music man's ability to express himself extends beyond the limits of spoken language. Allow the power of music to fill your hearts.
