Application: "I Love You"

There are times when the responsibility that comes with leadership, whether in the church, in the home or in the workplace, weighs heavily on you. I often feel it. One Sunday I came to church with such feelings. I was worried. Was I doing enough and was I doing it right. With these feelings weighing on me, I sat down in Sunday School class and glanced across the room. I caught the eye of a young woman who mouthed the words, “I love you”. It melted my heart. That little expression mouthed across the room sent my spirits soaring. I felt the love of the Lord through her. There is a wonderful song from the musical “Camelot” that says, the way to handle a woman is to love her, simply love her. A true principle. We all want to be loved. We all need to be loved. And we all need to express that love. We need to say I love you.
