Marian

Marian was born in Ogden, Utah.  She has five children, four boys and one girl.  She has twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Marian's greatest accomplishment is her family.  Marian is very warm, bright and patient.  One of her favorite memories is from when she was nine years old.  Marian had a fine brother three years younger than her but she wanted a sister.  When her mother was expecting she was very excited.  As the months went forward, she wanted a baby sister more and more.  Early one morning, as she slept, her father came into her room to gently wake her.  As he woke her he said, "Marian, youhave a new baby sister."  Her heart jumped with joy.  She remembers this story with clarity andhappiness after all these years.  Her "baby sister" has been a blessing.
