Taco Salad

1 15 ounce can Ranch Style Beans, original Texas beans
1 15 ounce can Cattle Drive Chili with Beans
1 purple onion, sliced thin
1 cup mild cheese, grated
1 cup black olives
4 Roma Tomatoes, sliced
5 to 6 avocadoes, cut into thick slices.  To keep avocadoes from turning brown put them into the dressing mixture as soon as they are peeled and sliced.
1 10 ounce bag regular Fritos

Add Fritos and dressing.  Toss and Serve.

Dressing:
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/8 cup ketchup
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons yellow onions, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Dash of garlic salt
Sour Cream, optional

Mix sparingly.

  1. I absolutely loved this salad. Thanks for the recipe. Also loved the orange one with chick peas, kidney beans, fritos, lettuce, cheese? and I don't know what else. I need the details.
