New to Me

Perhaps some of you who are reading this now already know about this wonderful offering but I thought I would share anyway - just in case.  I have just discovered that the church website http://www.lds.org/ has a page filled with articles in compressed audio format.  What does this mean? 

It means that you can not only download the scriptures to your computer or Ipod type player but you can download the Ensign, New Era or Friend magazine!  You can also download all of the churches manuals!  There are such wonderful possibilities here.

Are you driving around in the car all day with little ones?  Download the Friend to your Ipod and play the articles in the car for everyone to enjoy and discuss.

Teens and adults can listen to the articles in the New Era over and over while they exercise, drive to school or lay around.  What a great way to share these articles with your teens while you drive them to school or sports.

The church magazines, scriptures and books have been recorded and available to those who are sight impared for years and now they are all easily available online to everyone.  Perhaps they have been there for months or years but I have just discovered them and am very excited to spread the news.  So have a look and download the lesson you will be teaching in a few weeks.  What a great way to review the lesson and ponder it again and again.
